In the winter of 1950, the Korean Peninsula was engulfed in flames. At the request of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, the Chinese People's Volunteer Army crossed the Yalu River and engaged in a life and death struggle with the United Nations forces led by the United States. In the Chosin Reservoir area, the volunteer soldiers faced extremely harsh weather and well-equipped enemies, and with astonishing perseverance and fearless sacrifice, wrote a magnificent chapter in the history of human warfare.
